Sugar Ridge Family Farm
Sugar Ridge Family Farm is a working farm, event venue, and seasonal attraction destination in Walton, Kentucky. The website serves families planning a visit, couples researching wedding venues, companies booking private events, and community members looking for seasonal activities. I built its WordPress site to bring those audiences together under one brand while giving each a clear path to relevant information.

The Work
The project required a full WordPress build around a venue with year-round offerings and seasonal changes. I organized the site into dedicated sections for private event planning, seasonal events, and farm experiences, with a blog supporting additional content throughout the year.
The event planning section presents indoor and outdoor spaces, barn seating, on-site coordination, animal experiences, seasonal décor, and customizable packages. The seasonal section provides Fall Fest dates, admission details, and activity listings that can be updated each year. Links to Scream Ridge connect visitors with the farm’s haunted attraction.
Local SEO and page content focus on Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati searches for farm experiences, fall festivals, and event venues. Dedicated landing pages and tailored copy help each audience find the appropriate offering and its next step, whether planning a family visit or making a private event inquiry.
The Outcome
The completed site gives the farm a single web presence with distinct paths for family visits, weddings, corporate bookings, and community events. Its content structure accommodates annual seasonal updates alongside year-round venue information, making it easier to present changing activities without rebuilding the site.
